St. Andrews The Home of Golf since the 15th century with the world famous Old Course. St. Andrews however boasts several courses of varying length and degree of difficulty. The Jubilee, the Eden and the New courses are also traditional links courses. A trip to Scotland is not complete without a pilgrimage to where it all started. |

Turnberry An Open Championship course, the Ailsa course is regularly ranked among the top 20 courses in the world. The Kintyre course is rated by some to be an even sterner challenge than it’s better known sister. |

Royal Dornoch Often referred to as "The Star of the North" Royal Dornoch is one of the truly great links courses. The entire course, bordered by the Dornoch Firth, is a thing of beauty and worth the effort to get there. With a large USA membership it is ranked as one of the top golf courses in the World. Founded in 1877. |

Royal Troon
A traditional Scottish links course which is one of the best Open courses in the country. Venue for the 2004 Open Championship. Founded 1878, 6641 yds, SSS 73.
Prestwick
Holding a unique position in golfing history, the first British Open was played here in 1860 and on 23 other occasions since. Founded 1851, 6455 yds, SSS 72.
Crail Crail’s Balcomie Links and Craighead Links run beside the sea with views north to the Angus Hills and south to St Abbs Head. Admirably suited for golfers who like a challenge. Founded 1786. |

Muirfield
The Honourable company of Edinburgh golfers trace their roots back to 1744. Steeped in history, Muirfield is unique and renowned throughout the world of golf. A regular venue for the 'Open' Championship.
Carnoustie While the Carnoustie Golf Club was actually formed in 1839 some evidence exists that golf was played here in 1427. A magnificent links golf course, now back as an Open Championship venue, Carnoustie has defied the greatest golfers in the world yet remains one of the most charming courses in Scotland. |
