Scotland’s holidays need never be left kicking their heels and feeling
abandoned or forgotten. From the majestic and historical capital of Edinburgh
to the hustle and bustle of the ‘new’ Glasgow (recent European
City of Culture and Architecture); from the rolling lands of Robert Burns
in Ayrshire providing counterpoint to the spectacularly wild scenery of
the Highlands. Scotland is such an amazingly varied country, and being so
compact means that all of the country can be sampled during a relatively
